Plot

"Jang Bo-Ri is here" follows two women who experience sudden changes with their lives and families.   As a child, Jang Bo-Ri (Oh Yeon Seo)) was adopted by a family without much money. She then learns that she is the missing daughter from a wealthy family. Jang Bo-Ri goes through the drastic change in her life and tries to become a successful designer of traditional Korean dresses. Meanwhile, the daughter (Lee Yu-Ri) from the wealthy family must live a different life with the family without much money. Joo Chan-woo(Kim Ji Hoon), is a prosecutor. He lost his mother when he was young and grew up with step-siblings. He is a positive thinker and supports the law but is a fool when it comes to women. He forms a romance line with Jang Bo-ri (Oh Yeon-seo).

Plot

Park Dong-Joo is a surgeon. His first love was a blind girl. Yoon Soo-Wan is an emergency 119 worker. •They first met a few minutes before midnight at MBC lobby.

•Had their first date eating dukkbokki at Shindangdong.

•Got engaged the same night, exchanged letters and bought their couple rings and mugs.

•The next day they showed off their rings at KBS Music Bank.

•Played their first impromptu duet, Falling Slowly.

•Arm wrestled in a café in Hongdae before buying a mini-guitar for Hyun.

•Yong reveals his wish for Hyun to play “What’s up” in a month.

•Hyun meets her family, CNBLUE in-laws and did a jamming session.

•Went to donate blood for their special 22-day and ended up watching Avatar.

•Took the last train trip to Jeongdongjjin to see the sunrise, marking their last day as an engaged couple.

•Moved into their new house.  Hyun played “What’s up” as promised, Yong made a Forgiveness book, and the SNSD in-laws visited.

•Hyun meets Yong and in-laws, coming from Thailand, surprising them by appearing from the trunk of their car.

•Yongseo had their first grocery and dinner together and made a list of things-to-do on their marriage.

•Hyun wrote her first lyrics to the song. Both took a taxi ride in Han River to chill and then Yong piggybacked Hyun.

•Rode the train to visit Busan.  Yong presents Hyun a pair of glasses and told her a past story of the first time he saw her in a shop, reading. Hyun teased Yong about a past high school funny video.

•Mom-in-law met them for lunch.   Hyun impressed mom-in-law with her letter, and gave gifts for the Jung family.

•Yongseo fed seagulls in Haewondae, took a boat trip to Oryook-doh, and met with Yong’s childhood friends.

•Made a late night visit to Yong’s high school and left memories by writing their names on the field.

•Back to their home, Yong made breakfast for the still sleeping Hyun. Visited the hospital for check-up and capped the night over a couple spa session.

•Went on a snowboarding trip. Yong taught strictly Hyun how to ride and with muscles sore from all the fall, Hyun did a make-up session to Yong in return.

•Yongseo filmed a UCC video singing the Banmal song and uploaded it to youtube after several cute NG’s from Yong.

•Then came the day of the wedding photo shoot, with a theme that told their story.

•Took photos with gogumas, doing arm wrestling, being choding and their couple rings.

•Highlight was their first kiss! Yong kissed Hyun’s forehead light as a feather while Hyun cutely smacks Yong’s cheek.

•Walking through the snowy park, late at night, Hyun presented Yong with her gift of a knitted scarf with their initials woven into it.

Liz Park is a Korean American ballerina who is a star pupil at the famous American Ballet Theatre in New York. Liz runs away to Tokyo out of boredom from the tedious life as a ballet student when she sees Subaru as a worthy competitor to revitalize her waning enthusiasm for ballet.

Biography

So Ji Sub was born on November 4, 1977. He started swimming in an early age. He continued swimming till his high school years. "In high school, I was a swimmer who was doing well. To be precise, I played water polo, which is known as “handball in water.” My skills were known. People would be surprised to hear that I was a national representative of junior water polo. I really enjoyed sports. It’s the same now, but my parents worried a lot because they thought I couldn’t adjust to teamwork because of my introverted personality. But the freedom inside water was a kind of release and escape for me. I parted water without desire, and the feeling I got in my body from it caught me from going into a bad path during my teenage years. Sports was a thankful existence for me. No, it still is my most thankful friend. " 

Having an athletic background, he started modeling to make living. Being an avid fan of hip-hop group Deunx and Kim Seung Jae, he got the opprtunity to do modeling for denim jean with him. The sudden death of Kim Seung Jae was a big shock to him before taking the first step but "Like that, my mind’s idol passed. Ironically, the sudden death of my idol became an opportunity that opened another road for me. I had been supporting cast, but I was suddenly chosen as the main mode". 

Being given the opportunity of starting his modeling work he met his long-time friends Seung Seung Hun and Park Young ha. He made his acting debut in the sitcom Three Guys and Three Girls and drama Model.  But whereas fellow STORM model Song Seung-heon quickly rose to stardom, he had difficulty raising his profile. He appeared in small roles on television throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, and started to gain popularity when he was cast as the male second lead in Glass Slippers in 2002. "From my debut in 1995 to 2004’s “What Happened in Bali,” I had a nine-year period of obscurity. Back then, the flower-boy style of people like Jang Dong-gun, Han Jae-suk and Song Seung-hun were drawing popularity from the masses. During that time, I heard the phrase “Don’t be an actor” countless times."

So Ji Sub began to show his potential to become a true actor in 2004's What Happened in Bali, but was again overshadowed by co-star Zo In-sung. At the time, So thought he would end up being a supporting actor. But later that year, he had his breakout role as the tragic hero in smash hit I'm Sorry, I Love You. It made him a top star in Korea, as well as all over Asia. "As “What Happened in Bali” and “I’m Sorry, I Love You” became hit after hit, the awareness of the masses toward me changed. They accepted my own distinct charms and gave me love. I think that’s also when I earned the nicknamed ‘So Ganji.’"

He enlisted for mandatory military service in 2005 as a public relations officer with the Mapo District Office, and was discharged on April 27, 2007. He made his comeback in Jang Hoon's directorial debut Rough Cut, in which he played a thug who dreams of becoming an actor. Because of the film's low budget, So and costar Kang Ji-hwan decided to invest their fees back into the movie, and were credited as producers. So's performance was well received by audiences and critics, and the film became a surprise box office hit.

In 2009 he attempted to break into the Japanese and Chinese markets and the results were I'm a ghost which was a 24 5-min episodes and the movie Sophie's revenge. "I wanted to do a bright and cheery role because I've played so many sad and gloomy ones." He acted in drama Cain and Abel the same year.

In 2010 he headlined the big-budget Korean War epic Road No along side Kim Haneul.

He published his first photo essay (The journey of So Ji Sub) about his travels during the summer of 2010. The book includes his encounters with various people such as rapper Tiger JK, novelist Lee Oi-soo, cartoonist Park Jae-dong, artists dusicnddilddil and Korea's youngest bird researcher Jung Da-mi. The book was a big success in Korea.  He was subsequently named the goodwill ambassador of Gangwon Province in an effort to boost tourism there and a 51 km-long trail in the province was named "So Ji-sub Road," which was unveiled to the public on May 20, 2012. He is the first Korean actor to have an entire road named after him.

A professed longtime hip-hop lover, he rapped for two original tracks – Lonely Life and Foolish Love – under the artist pseudonym "G" or "G-Sonic" for the Rough Cut and Cain and Abel soundtracks, respectively. In 2011 he released another digital single Pick Up Line under his own name. Two teaser videos were released, the first one described as a comedic version that featured guest stars Jung Joon-ha (who is a close friend of So's) and Kim Byung-man (whom So named as one of his favorite comedians). The single, along with the music video itself, was released on February 17, 2011, but recorded low sales. 

During 2011 to 2013 he played two other movies "Always" With Hanhyo Joo and A company man. His second photo essay which covers 150 days of filming the movie Always was published in 2012. He published his magazine called SONICe in the same year. Ghost in 2012 was his next drama project which was a mild-hit. 

He experienced his first romantic-comedy role in drama The master's sun which was a mega hit and proved his popularity and acting ability once more.

Even though in 2002 Eric and his Shinhwa band mates had cameo appearance in the movie Emergency 19 Act, Eric’s career as an actor really started in 2003 when director Park Sung Soo gave him 0.5 second to make a decision whether taking on a supporting roll for MBC’s series Breathless (I Run). Eric responded with a "Yes" and that opened door to the path of acting. In early 2004, he got a big break with the immensely popular drama Phoenix (Bulsae). Later that year, Eric had a series of Banjun dramas (reversed mini-dramas) from the SBS’s Good Sunday Show. He was recognized for his acting skill and also won MBC Best New Actor Award for Phoenix in the same year. Since then, Eric has stared (lead roles) and expanded his acting repertoire with different types of characters in numerous dramas and movies. Strongest Chil Woo was his last drama before enlisted to the Korean army.

On Oct.31, 2010 with a welcoming of nearly 500 fans on site, Eric was discharged from his army duty. Prior to his discharge, Eric had several drama offers and Poseidon, a big budgeted marine police drama, was to be his comeback drama.  Howevever production was put to a haul after the attack by North Korean on Yeonpyeong-do island (where most of Poseidon filming was).   After SBS later pulled Poseidon off their scheduled broadcast date, the original cast (Eric, Kim Kang-woo, U-Know Yunho, Kim Ok-bin, Jeon Hye-bin) had moved on to other projects after a long wait.  Eric went on to star in KBS Spy Myung-wol as his 1st drama after coming back from his mandatory military service.  Poseidon eventually was picked up by KBS with a new cast and a new script/plot.

After discharge from his military service, Eric also worked on negotiation to create Shinhwa own company.  The fruit of that labor is  Shinhwa Company.  Shinhwa Company was born on July 01, 2011 with Eric & Minwoo are co-CEO while all members put in equal share of investment to the company.  On March 23 2012, Shinhwa released their 10th album, The Return, followed with concert tours starting with Seoul right on their 14th Anniversary.  Shinhwa also has their own variety show, Shinhwa Broadcast, with jTBC with its first broadcast on March 17, 2012.  Since the forming of Shinhwa Company, Eric temporary puts his solo activities on hold because he wants to focus on strengthening Shinhwa.

At the end of December 2013, Eric's contract with Top Class Entertainment ended.  Eric teams up with his long time manager of more than 10 years to set up a new management company, E&J Entertainment.  After 3 years since his last drama, Spy Myungwol, 2014 also marks Eric's comeback to drama with Discovery of Romance.  This marks 7-year reunion with Jung Yumi,  his co-star in Que Sera Sera.

Eric's contract with Top Class Entertainment ended December 2013.  He teams up with Lee Jong Hyun (his long time manager of more than 10 years since Eric was with Good Ent) to set up a new management company, E&J Entertainment.

First introduced to the public at the end of 1997, Eric & Andy rapped for S.E.S.’s hit song “I’m Your Girl”. By early summer of 1998, Eric made a debut as the leader & main rapper for the popular 6 members boy band Shinhwa. The group consist 3 vocalists (Shin Hye Sung, Kim Dong Wan, Lee Min Woo) and 3 rappers (Eric Mun, Park Jun Jin, Andy Lee). Eric also writes rap lyrics and composes for most of Shinhwa’s songs as well some of members’ solo. Beside that, he also features in many songs & music videos for other Korean artists. In 2003, Shinhwa refused to extend the contract with SM Entertainment, which was undoubtedly a big shock in the industry. Eric was the one who negotiated with the management and forking out his own funds to buy back Shinhwa’s name. No one will ever know how much hardship he had to endure during the negotiations. Eric also lowered his fees 3 times so that they can all move to a new management company successfully. Eric & Shinhwa members celebrated their 10th Anniversary in March 2008 which was also their last concert before the members starting to fulfill their mandatory 2-year military service.

Since forming his own management company, Top Class Entertainment in 2007, Eric & Top Class had produced a female duo Honey Dew who made their first debut in May 2010 with their single Like A Fool

There were 2-3 contracts offers with Eric's price being 4 times larger than our price. We were aware of that too. Each of us was priced differently by management companies. Even though other members also made sacrifices, Eric made the biggest sacrifice. He had to bring down his price to 3 times less than his own price. That's why, the fact that the 6 of us are able to stay together now, Eric contributed a lot to it.

Thus til today, they still exist as Shinhwa, with its line up unchanged from day one. It is a feat in the Korean music scene for any idol group to be able to stay intact for this long. The core of this group is of course Mun Jung Hyuk. Well-known for giving the limelight to his fellow members, and taking care of them, his contribution to Shinhwa is massive. Regardless of his popularity, he remains the humble Mun Jung Hyuk, uniting the group with his presence.
