JO JUNG SUK'S BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Hi guys!
Jo Jung Suk’s birthday is fast approaching, and the angels, along with a few JJS campers, have decided to give a birthday present for him--something simple yet meaningful. Anyway, I don’t know if you guys heard about the destruction recent typhoon Haiyan has caused in the Philippines, but if you have, you’d know how badly they need everyone’s help right now. So we thought the best gift we can give him right now is to give a donation in his name. It’s simple, it’s meaningful, and it’s also for a good cause.
So here’s where everyone comes in. We won’t be asking you to deposit your money to a personal account coz that would seem shady. All we ask is for you to send your donations IN HIS NAME to ANY organization you deem fit and you trust. I will be giving out a list of websites that I got off the net where you can donate, but you can also just choose to donate from a local organization. Anyway, if you’re interested in participating, here are the agreed terms:
1. Make a donation for the haiyan victims in JJS’s name
- A base amount of 5 USD (or its equivalent) has been agreed upon. However, you can donate as much as you want. We would appreciate it though if you can keep the donations in denominations of 5usd (For example, if you want to donate 20 dollars, make 4 donations of 5usd each), to increase the number of donators. Some organizations though (especially online orgs) will have a higher minimum amount so we understand if you can’t follow the base amount request.
- You can donate through these websites:
http://www.redcross.org.ph/donate (i think this one is only convenient for Filipino locals)
or through any organization in your locality.
2. Send us a copy of your proof of donation.
- Please send proof of donation to my personal mail :littleblackkeys@yahoo.com.au with contributor’s name (alias will do) and country (to include in the credits)
- It can be in any form, a picture, a screencap, a scanlation, or a forwarded mail acknowledging your donation.
- Some organizations will not ask for the donator’s name. That’s okay, you can still give us the receipt and we will include it in the compilation. But if a name is required, please use JJS’s name (Korean or Romanized versions are both accepted)
- Deadline for all proof of donations will be on the 10th of December, 2013, to give us enough time to compile and complete the video for his birthday.

I will be compiling all the donations into a short vid with a few messages. If you also want to add in your message to him, you can include it in your email. You can make as many donations as you want, as long as you send all your receipts by the deadline. Also, please help disseminate this information to all JJS sites and to your friends as well, who may or may not know JJS, but are willing to help. That way, we can gather a substantial amount in his name.
